Can I keep my existing fax number?
We're working on number porting. In the meantime, you can get a new dedicated number in your area code and forward your existing number. Contact support for help with the transition.
How many fax numbers can I have?
Every receive plan includes 1 dedicated number. Additional numbers are $2.99/mo each. You can have local, toll-free, or a mix.
Is FaxDash HIPAA compliant?
FaxDash is HIPAA-ready with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. We offer Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for healthcare organizations. Contact hipaa@faxdash.io.
Can my whole team use it?
Currently FaxDash supports individual accounts. Team/multi-user accounts with shared numbers and centralized billing are on our roadmap.
What happens if a fax fails?
Failed faxes are automatically retried. If delivery ultimately fails, you're notified immediately and the credits are refunded to your account.
How does email-to-fax work?
Attach a PDF to an email, put the fax number in the subject line, and send it to your FaxDash address. The document is faxed automatically. Works from any email client.
